The new coach meets Carteron in Zamalek



Ahmed Abdel-Maqsoud, the new assistant coach who joined the auxiliary apparatus of French Carteron, Zamalek's coach, arrived at the club's headquarters in Mitt Oqba, to start his duties at the club, and the administration was keen to receive Abdel Maksoud upon his arrival at the club's headquarters.

 

Abdel Maqsoud is scheduled to meet with French Carteron before the start of today's training, to define his duties with the auxiliary apparatus in the current period.


Abdel Maqsoud arrived in Cairo at dawn today, after completing his mission as technical director of the Saudi Falcon Team, and before his departure, Abdel Maqsoud succeeded in leading the team to qualify for the second round for the first time in the club's history.

Ahmed Abdel Maqsoud has a close relationship with the Frenchman Patrice Carteron, the technical director of the Zamalek team, due to the relationship that brought the two together during the French coach's assumption of the Saudi cooperation training, as the latter's stadium was hosting the training of the falcon team that Abdel Maqsoud was training to establish a relationship between the two, and Carteron asks to join his body Technical after returning to the White Castle.


It is expected that Ahmed Abdel-Maqsoud will start his work in Zamalek, starting from the training session today, when Carteron requested to amend the training date and it became at 1:30 in the afternoon, provided that the players gather at one in the afternoon in the club.


The Zamalek team is preparing to face its counterpart Mouloudia Algeria, scheduled for next April 3, in the fifth round of the group stage of the African Champions League, and Zamalek needs to win against Mouloudia and then Tongith of Senegal in Cairo, with the Algerian champion losing the sixth round match against Esperance, to qualify for the next round as the second group, accompanied by Esperance, who officially secured qualification by beating the Whites in the third and fourth rounds of the tournament.
