A Russian fighter intercepts 3 French warplanes over the Black Sea

The National Defense Management Center of the Russian Ministry of Defense announced that a Russian "Su-27" fighter, on Wednesday, intercepted three French warplanes near the Russian border over the Black Sea.


A statement by the National Center for Defense Management stated that the Russian fighter took off from its base after the detection of three air targets near the border over the Black Sea. These targets were found to be two "Mirage 2000" fighters and an S-135 fueling plane belonging to them. For the French Air Force.


The statement added that the Russian fighter prevented the French aircraft from violating the Russian borders and returned to their base after completing the mission.


This comes one day after the Russian Defense Ministry announced the interception of three French and Norwegian warplanes over the Barents Sea at Russia's northern borders.
