The Iranian parliament discusses the Foreign Minister's leaks about the influence of the Revolutionary Guards in a closed session

On Sunday morning, the Iranian parliament started a closed session chaired by the Speaker of the Islamic Consultative Assembly Muhammad Baqer Qalibaf, according to the Iranian Tasnim Agency.

According to the decision of the Presidency of the House of Representatives, the parliament will discuss the leaks of Jawad Zarif, which spread last month about the influence of the Revolutionary Guards in the political process in the country, and the Iranian minister will not attend the session.

And the Iranian Foreign Minister criticized, in a leaked audio recording, during an interview that the Iranian Foreign Ministry admitted that Zarif had conducted last March, the domination of the Quds Force commander in the Iranian Revolutionary Guard, Qassem Soleimani, over Iranian diplomacy before he was killed early last year. (Zarif) admitted that His influence on Iranian foreign policy has at times been non-existent.

The Iranian judiciary announced the opening of a judicial investigation into the leak of an audio file of Minister Zarif, while the Iranian Foreign Ministry spokesman, Saeed Khatibzadeh, said that Zarif's leaks were part of a dialogue with all government officials to save it in the state archives and not a media dialogue.
