Thursday, the final of the most expensive cups in Saudi Arabia, between Al-Faisaly and Al-Taawon


Today, Tuesday, the Saudi Football Association confirmed the holding of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques Cup final match between Al-Faisali and Al-Taawon clubs the day after tomorrow, Thursday, at King Fahd International Stadium in Riyadh, and according to the official account of the Saudi Federation on Twitter, he said: “The final of the most expensive cups between Al-Faisaly and Al-Taawon will be held in King Fahd International Stadium on May 27th.

Al-Ittihad announced that the unified tickets for the match will be free, while tickets for the silver category are sold for 500 riyals, and 1000 for the gold category, so the next final will be the eighth that will be held at King Fahd International Stadium, after the last two versions that were crowned Al-Taawon and Al Hilal, respectively.

Al-Taawon qualified for the third final in its history, after overcoming Damak in the final price by 2-1, then Qadisiyah by the same result in the quarter-finals, and finally Al-Fateh 3-2 in the semi-final.

Al-Taawon defeated Al-Fateh 3-2 over Al-Fateh in the semi-finals, while Al-Faisaly eliminated Al-Nasr from the same round after winning 1-0.

Al-Faisali qualified for the final of the most expensive tournament, by beating Al-Itifaq with a penalty shootout, then Al-Baten 2-1, before he set off a surprise by eliminating Al-Nasr from the semi-finals, to clinch his second qualification in its history.

Al-Taawun culminated in the 2019 King's Cup by defeating Al-Ittihad in the final, while Al-Faisaly lost the only final to which it qualified, against the Federal Team in 2018.
