Al-Ahly playmaker Mohamed Magdy Qafsha performed new training in his rehabilitation program to recover from the injury to the inner ligament of the ankle, which he suffered during his team's match against the Moroccan Berkane Renaissance in the African Super, which Al-Ahly crowned for the seventh time in its history.

Qafsha performed balance exercises and an endurance test for his foot in order to ensure that he recovered from the ankle injury, to determine his position on the regularity of Al-Ahly’s training, after the player came very close to participating in the Tunisian Esperance match on June 19 in the first leg of the semi-finals of the African Champions League.

A source close to Qafsha revealed that the player will be ready to participate in his team's match against Esperance Tunisia at the Olympic Stadium in Rades, in the first leg of the semi-finals of the African Champions League, especially after the intensive qualification program that the player underwent during the last period.

The source said that Qafsha is keen to do rehabilitation exercises in the gym twice a day, in the morning and in the evening, in order to be ready to participate in the Esperance match in Tunisia, where the injury pain in the player's ankle subsided and the player removed the ligament that he was putting around the ankle due to the pain of the injury.
