The Canadian professional leaves the Zamalek plane hours before the league match against Al-Ahly

The Canadian professional for the volleyball team of the Zamalek Hunt club refused to continue with the white team hours before the volleyball league title was decided in the match to determine the champion against Al-Ahly, set for 6 pm tomorrow, Wednesday, at the Arab Contractors club hall.

The escape of the professional Hunt comes despite the contract of the new committee in Zamalek, led by Hussein Labib, who sat with him in order to extend his contract, which expired on May 3, in light of the postponements of the league, but he refused at all after many attempts and left Cairo this morning.

The summit meeting will be held tomorrow without an audience, as announced by the Interim Committee of the Game Federation, with only 35 members of the families of the players allowed to attend for both teams, in light of adherence to the precautionary measures.

The Arab Contractors Hall hosted the first round summit that sparked Al-Ahly's victory after the match was transferred to a neutral stadium from the Zamalek hall. Therefore, the final summit of the league was also transferred to a neutral stadium to apply the principle of equal opportunity.

Zamalek volleyball team tops the standings with 59 points, which Al-Ahly team also has with the same score, while Zamalek won 20 games, Al-Ahly in 19, so that the white team has the largest share of the number of wins.

The Competitions Committee confirmed that the winner in this meeting will win the title, it is worth noting that the first round confrontation saw Al-Ahly win 3-0.

Zamalek managed to reach the same points as Al-Ahly by defeating Talaia Al-Jabish last Saturday in the postponed match between them, while Al-Ahly lost from Al-Talaa team before that with a score of 2/3.
