Congolese Florent Ibenge, coach of Moroccan club Nahde Berkane

The Moroccan club Nahdet Berkane announced today, Monday, the appointment of the Congolese Florent Ibenge as the technical director of the first football team in the club, to succeed the Spaniard Pedro Ben Ali. for two years .

The statement added that the Congolese coach will replace Pedro, the Spaniard, for a monthly fee of up to 15,000 dollars, to become the highest paid coach in the entire Moroccan League.

Nahdet Berkane recently sacked coach Pedro Ben Ali, due to poor results, and appointed coach David Bolungi as interim coach.

The name Ibenge was associated with the Congolese Vita Club, who trained him from 2013 to 2021, and also led in parallel with his club, the Democratic Republic of the Congo, from 2014 to 2019.

Ibinji recently arrived in Morocco, and attended the Nahde Berkane match in the local league against Olympique Safi, where he met club officials and agreed on the terms of the contract.

The Congolese coach has been regularly coming to Morocco to receive training courses to obtain the CAF diploma, which is held under the supervision of the African Union and in which 23 Moroccan coaches participate.
