Magnitude 5.9 earthquake strikes Indonesia's Sulawesi island

The Indonesian Meteorology, Climatology and Geophysics Agency said Monday that an earthquake measuring 5.9 on the Richter scale occurred 88 kilometers west of Luwak village on Indonesia's Sulawesi island.

The meteorological agency said that the earthquake occurred at a depth of 15 kilometers, with its epicenter 55 kilometers northeast of Togo Una Una Regency in Central Sulawesi.

The agency pointed out that no tsunami warning was issued, and there were no reports of any casualties.
