The Post resumes issuing terms of reference for the reservation of 100,000 housing units, housing for all Egyptians


Tomorrow, Tuesday, post offices will resume offering brochures for the reservation of housing units offered within the initiative of President Abdel Fattah Al-Sisi, “Housing for all Egyptians 2” for low and middle incomes, until Thursday, September 9, 2021, for all citizens, including people with special needs.

 

It is scheduled that the serious down payment of the reservation of the housing unit, the administrative expenses, in the automated post offices, the registration of the reservation data, the raising of the form and the declaration attached to the brochure of conditions on the website of the Social Housing and Real Estate Finance Support Fund, during the aforementioned period, adding that these units are being offered in In light of the presentation of the Central Bank of Egypt, for its new initiative to provide real estate financing at a return rate of 3% for a period of 30 years, which has been implemented since July 13, 2021, where ready-to-delivery housing units (two rooms and a hall, and three rooms and a hall) are offered for low and middle incomes, in addition to offering Housing units to be implemented within 3 years (3 rooms and hall) for middle-income people.

 

Mai Abdel Hamid, CEO of the Social Housing and Real Estate Finance Support Fund, indicated that ready-to-deliver units (two rooms and a hall, and three rooms and a hall) with areas ranging between 75 and 90 square meters, are being offered in the cities and centers of the following governorates: (Ismailia, Minya, Sharkia, Sohag). , Qena, Alexandria, Menoufia, Kafr El-Sheikh, Aswan, Gharbia, Beheira, Matrouh, Fayoum, Beni Suef, Assiut, New Valley, Luxor, North Sinai, and Damietta), and the prices of residential units range between 164 and 310 thousand pounds, and units will be offered. Others within the same advertisement in the cities of Shata and Zarqa in Damietta Governorate, with areas ranging between 105 and 114 square meters, and at a price ranging between 640 and 900 thousand pounds, explaining that the purchase of these units takes place in accordance with the real estate financing system, and the detailed conditions of the initiative issued by the Central Bank of Egypt on July 13, 2021, whereby Down payment starts from 10% for low-income units, and 15% for middle-income units for a period of up to 30 years at a return rate of 3% annually, decreasing nickname.

Quarterly starting on January 1, 2022, at a value of 25% of the unit price, and the rest of the unit price is paid with a maximum of 65% of its sale price using the real estate financing system for a period of up to 30 years at an annual interest rate of 3%, the terms booklet is purchased, and the seriousness of the reservation is paid. And administrative expenses, through automated post offices in the cities and governorates in which the housing units are offered.

 

Mai Abdel Hamid said: With regard to the income limits from all sources of income that will be dealt with, for low- and middle-income clients, for low-income citizens, the maximum annual net income for singles is 54,000 pounds, equivalent to 4,500 pounds per month, and the maximum net The annual income of the family is 72,000 pounds, equivalent to 6,000 pounds per month. As for middle-income citizens, the maximum annual net income for singles is 120,000 pounds, equivalent to 10,000 pounds per month, and 168,000 pounds annually for the family, equivalent to 14,000 pounds per month. The minimum net monthly income for low-income earners is 1,200 pounds, and the minimum net monthly income for middle-income earners is 2,500 pounds.

 

Regarding the registration mechanism on the fund’s website, the CEO of the Social Housing and Real Estate Finance Support Fund explained that the website (www.shmff.gov.eg) is entered, and you click on “Register” from the top of the main page on the left, fill out the registration form and wait for a text message with a code.
