A new blow in Real Madrid before facing Valencia because of Mendy

Real Madrid's French player Ferland Mendy was injured before facing Valencia next Sunday in the fifth week of the Spanish League.

And the Spanish newspaper “Marca” reported that Ferland Mendy felt some pain despite recovering from a leg injury from last May, and he will be out of action for 3 weeks, that is, after the next international break in October.

The player had asked to amend his contract, which amounts to 5 million euros, but this request collided with the decision of the Royal Club’s management, deducting 10% of the players’ dues due to the Corona crisis, which means that the French player will receive only 4.5 million euros.

Frenchman Ferland Mendy joined Real Madrid in 2019 from Olympique Lyonnais, with a contract until 2025.

French striker Karim Benzema missed the group training of his Real Madrid team, who returned to training today after a day of rest after winning a clean goal against Milan at the start of his Champions League campaign.
