The Arab League participates in a symposium on Chinese-Arab relations in Beijing

The General Secretariat of the League of Arab States (Social Affairs Sector - Department of Culture and Dialogue of Civilizations), within the framework of the Executive Program of the Forum on China-Arab Cooperation between 2020-2022, will hold the ninth session of the Symposium on Sino-Arab Relations and Dialogue between Chinese and Arab Civilizations in Beijing, People's Republic of China, on Tuesday, corresponding to September 14, 2021 via digital platform,

The Assistant Secretary-General of the League of Arab States, Ambassador Haifa Abu-Ghazaleh, stated that the symposium will be held under the title "Contact between Chinese and Arab Civilizations in the Context of Jointly Building the Sino-Arab Society for a Common Future".

The symposium will discuss many axes, including the call for solidarity, tolerance, respect for the unique civilization of each country and its social system, strengthening dialogue between the ancient Chinese and Arab civilizations, deepening communication and mutual benefit between civilizations, and advancing popular communication within the framework of the "Belt and Road" initiative.

Abu-Ghazaleh affirms that the Arab nation has a long history of commercial, cultural and literary communication between it and China, and the League of Arab States is keen to develop and sustain these relations and make the goals of the Arab-Chinese Cooperation Forum a success, which has become a bridge for communication and communication, achieving rapprochement between the Arab peoples and the ancient Chinese people and strengthening the common denominators between them. .
